The NY Art Book Fair, organised by Printed Matter and hosted by MoMA Ps1, is the largest fair of its kind, held as the world’s premier event for artists’ books, catalogs, monographs, periodicals, and zines.

Performance as Publishing is an independent practice-based research project led by Nicole Bachmann and Ruth Beale. It explores, through their own and other artists’ practice, the relationship between the written word (archival material, found texts, fiction and art writing) and exhibition-making, audio and performance. Many of the invited artists deal directly with the subject of text and language, others use it more formally to explore different thematic concerns.

The Werkplaats Typografie (WT) is a two-year graphic design masters programme, part of ArtEZ Institute of the Arts. The WT is centred on assignments and self-initiated projects with lectures, seminars, meetings and readings geared towards self-accountable and independently motivated work and research.
